As you know keeping any club up and running involves money to pay for expenses such as insurance, mailing and newsletters etc. We are always looking for ways to raise funds. If you have any ideas we would love to hear them either email us or come to the club meetings.We always need to members to help out at these functions remember

Bunnings BBQ Fund Raiser

St George Spearfishing & Freediving Club Inc. is a non profit community orientated fishing club. We have around 100 members and our activities are funded by three (3) means:

1) Members pay an annual $50 membership fee;

2) Members participate in fund raising events such as BBQ's and raffles;

3) Corporate sponsorship

The following page outlines our current and planned fund raising activities for the next 12 months. Events such as our BBQ's are staffed by members on a volunteer basis and these pages also help our executive and members to track each event to ensure it is adequately resourced and members can also view when and where they have committed to assist.

Its also a great social day to catch up on spearing chat....

LAST BBQ DAY .....The day turned up fine & sunny for our Fundraiser down at Caringbah Bunnings. Vlad came down with the trailer full of sausages & bread rolls as we set the BBQ up. A lot of the good old reliable guys turned up like Vlad, Craig, Andrew, Darren, Steve & Laurie, even some of the new guys like Nick, Daniel & good old Stuart. We had a surprise visit by a life member Col Boomer, who can wield a spatula as well as any. Even though the day was a bit quiet compared to the one at Christmas we still earned over $1000 valuable to the Club. Looks like Craig has secured the rights to another one before the end of the year. Please spend a couple of hours to help. No mention will be made of Mitch, Ronnie & Rob who had a nice dive on that day, we'll see them next time!
